Lives, Habitats & Pictures of the Game Birds

game birds

Upland game birds can be seen throughout the entire island of Cuba. These birds can be found in many types of terrain such as tundra, mountains, forests, woodlots and prairies. The Gray Partridge was introduced from Europe and was once known as the "Hungarian Partridge" and has learned to adapt and survive in towns and cities.

Game birds such as the Wild Turkeys are once again seen in farmfields, with the efforts of management and the reintroduction of birds to areas where certain species once lived.
