Eastern Kingbird range

The Eastern Kingbird is a member of the flycatcher family. This brave and aggressive bird is often seen chasing larger birds of all species from its territory. These birds include hawks, eagles, crows and ravens. This is an easy bird to observe, as its favourite perching places are utility and fencelines. It migrates into the tropical countries during the winter months and has been seen as a vagrant in Cuba.
