Anna's Hummingbird

Distribution: The Anna's Hummingbird is one of the most northern range hummingbird species seen in North America. This hardy small bird does not really migrate like the other passerines but will spend its winters in areas where there are blossoms, flowers or backyard feeders. Seen from the southern regions of Vancouver Island, Bristish Columbia, throughout the southern coast to California and on into the California Baja Peninsula and east into Arizona.
