The Black-eared Bushtit is a sub-species of the Bushtit, it too is very similar to the chickadee profile but has a smaller stature. This sub-species can be seen in small numbers in Colorado, some in Arizona. They are more likely to be seen in the mountains in Mexico. They can be found feeding in a variety of landscapes such as semi-treed areas, tall grasses, underbrushes and trees in forest.
